About the forum

A strategic UK convening point for the
worldwide IIT ecosystem.

SUMMIIT 2026 convenes the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) ecosystem — institutes, alumni, founders, investors and industry leaders, in partnership with the IITs — in London to explore the breakthrough technologies, ventures and partnerships defining the next decade, from AI and sustainability to energy, mining, healthcare, fintech, manufacturing and frontier innovation.

It positions London as the next strategic convening point for the worldwide IIT ecosystem, connecting UK industry, Indian innovation, global capital and diaspora leadership. The forum builds on high-impact Pan-IIT gatherings across the USA, Europe and India, bringing the global IIT leadership network to the UK.

In line with the India–UK Technology Security Initiative (TSI), the forum positions London as the premier launchpad for cross-border tech collaboration — bridging Indian innovation and talent with UK commercial capital, and accelerating deep-tech commercialisation.
